This visual for the regeneration of a landmark site in Birmingham City centre was developed following an in depth analysis of the existing context, urban grain, visibility and vistas around the site. We created a masterplan drawing on the ideas of connectivity in and around the site plugging into key axial views and creating a new urban square with high quality landscaping and jewel like glass retail pavilions to develop a sense of place.

The existing wide-span concrete frame buildings are to be repurposed and retrofitted to create new office and residential accommodation with a new landmark hotel, mixed use housing and commercial buildings individually designed to give each their own identity within the overall masterplan.
